Both AT 's (Pro & Gold) Are Excellent Machines For Hunting In Trashy Areas......Check Out These Garrett Videos

Looks like the smaller coil on the AT Gold has some advantages due to it's smaller size. Check it out:

Since the AT Gold has the depth indicator in both inches and cm, I am going to guess that there will be no need for a International model. I never did understand the operational differences between the USA and International model of the AT PRO.
Thanks,
John Morton

Well from the videos presented here I am more then happy to stick with my ATPros.
They found 1 nickle at 1or 2 inch. and a bunch of pennies.
Nothing at any depth.
I would like that small DD coil for the ATP.

Well maybe not that 1 lol, but 1 that works on ATP.

I could go on and on but I won't.

It wasn't about quality of digs, but how well the ATs can still pick out good targets among heavy trashy areas, at a moderate to fast swing speed. Great audio too!

I'm guessing the difference between International and USA versions of their detectors are based upon how they indicate the type of coinage based upon metal composition... i.e. conductivity.

John all due respect ... but it would be great to see a side by side comparison with the ATP and ATG.
That being said, I would pay thru the nose for that small DD coil if it worked on the ATP.
And if I were in the market for a prospecting unit... ATG would be my purchase.
