Both AT Pros working great

Earlier this summer, I had a problem with my ATP so sent it back for repair and the upgrade. While it was gone, I missed it so much that I bought another used one on the bay. I'm happy to report that both have been working perfectly since August.
My number 2 did not have the upgrade and to tell you the truth, I don't really care. I manage with them both equally well.

I went to a local park this afternoon with number 1 and I have to tell you, even though I was hitting targets every few feet, digging the clad is like kissing your sister - technically it's a kiss but the passion is missing. I'd trade the 30 some odd clads I dug for one or two silver. I guess I just need to be smarter picking my sites. SO MANY COINS, SO LITTLE TIME!

Good to hear! And if you decide you want an AT Gold at some point, you can always get a pretty good price on eBay Much as we love to hate them, it's hard to beat for selling -- I had a banner weekend with my antique photo biz (Civil war to ~1930s), and promptly spent some of it on a GPS. Got an Oregon 450 (On Sale at gpscity.com for $219 right now) on the road to me, already getting maps ready to load on to it covering some ghost towns and such - there are a bunch of ghosts along an abandoned rail line (the 'Southline', along NM route 9) that I'd like to poke around in.
But I digress

Congrats on having the 'family' reunited and some good hunts - I have the same issue re: finding some quality hunting sites vs hitting the park I worked this weekend, lots of clad, but nothing really interesting ('42 wheatie was my oldest). Still convinced that there's some gold jewelry hiding among the 10 pull tabs per swing, though. Tryin' to get the ear tuned in.
