That first chapter is certainly a chilling passage and it seems to me that it applies to the whole western "Christian" world.
There was a time when the Scriptures were, generally speaking, accepted by most in western society - UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, most of Europe etc - but that day is long past.
How accurate that passage seems to be and we wonder just what horrors await us?
However there are many who have not bowed the knee to Baal and the Lord spares His arm because of His people.
These events will sadly continue so we must be faithful.
