Here's a scratch board I did. For those who might not know what it is - -a thin layer of white clay is applied to the surface of a board , then I ink over it and a design is scratched through it to show a white line. Basically a white line drawing instead of the usual black line drawing. Steve

Do you work off a general pattern, or is it something you just see in your head? The thing that amazes me about artists are their abilities to "see" what they want in their head. I want to be able to do that soooo bad, but I just cant. Too analytical.

that an artist's (and fisherman's ) world cannot stand too much reality.
I do both - imagine and conjure up things and also go from a picture or such. Steve
