Got out for 4 hours before work. I hit this speedway park and found some clad, but then i went over to the old area of town and found a good spot. Right in the heart of the old homes and buildings. The guy next door said his house was the first in town built in 1865. Within 20 minutes i find my oldest coin ever, even older than my dads oldest find. An 1864 indian head penny. Then i went up to the old foundation of a barn and found the 1944 d silver. I thought i was done here but its in the 40's and the ground is not frozen. The last 10 years have been like this no snow and warmer temps in early winter its almost becoming the norm. Anyway im super stoked. Metal detecting is a roller coaster, when i have a few poor days on short or lousy hunts, suddenly ill stumble on something really good.
