Been looking at some wetsuit boots for wading and have a question. I've usually used neoprene high top socks when diving but in a soled boot for wading do you like the low cut zipperless or high top zipper style best. One of my concerns is keeping the sand out so it doesn't abrade the skin while walking.
 
I use the high tops that go over the ankle, they keep the sand out. Have used the low cut and sand does get in, I have the zippered ones and non-zippered one, they both do the same job, just easier to take them off with the zippers.....HH
