.....about that job I thought I had last week:Thinking back,a comment I made has probly just about guaranteed I wont be considered for future employment there;either-When she told me other people were being hired,and I told her the foreman just about promised me a job there,she said"The foremen dont do the hiring,the HR staff in the front does"........I then said,with just a HINT
of irritation-"The foremen do the interviewing,and HR does the hiring??What sense does THAT make"???HR asked me nary a word about anything...........She said-After a brief pause-"THATS the way it's always been done here".............. my point is;the foremen could tell them HR people the person he interviewed could be Jack the Ripper's brother or whatever, and NOT TO HIRE HIM................sounds Greek to me...........ANYWAY;GOOD NEWS:Remember that Beach Club Ive said I always get to after Labor Day??FOUR BEACHES,TONS of open ground;Im the only one allowed there detecting;been in use since the early 1900's???WELL;LET ME SAY THAT I called the owner last nite,and he said"OF COURSE you can come down-when ya gonna be here???"-I told him,and he said he wont be there;just make sure the main gate is closed if I go in or out........
...I got my tent and blow up bed ready to go,gonna get firewood for night time fires(my Garrett 1350 GTA has a back light for NIGHT detecting!!!
