books about UV light

I was searching the Internet and found these two books on using UV light and thought someone might be interested in them. "Forensic Light: A Beginners Guide" by" David Rudd Cycleback and "The Black Light Book" 5Th Edition, by: Mark Chervenka
These may or not be helpful concerning treasure hunting, but I believe they are. They have information about spotting fake art, coins or paper money and other uses. Checking out antiques, baseball cards, etc. www.theblacklightshop.com and www.cycleback.com. There were two sites that mentioned the use of UV lights in Lost Treasure magazine, also. I will have to look them up later and post them to this thread.
Using UV light was mentioned in one of Mr. Garrett's books and I ran into a situation where UV light may be applicable. This old house I have permission to search gave me a signal when I checked the chimney out with my 2500, but I can't find anything and I believe I will try this approach.

Sounds interesting. Good luck with searching that old house and chimney. We've got a couple of different UV lights. We hardly ever use 'em, but we have played around with 'em on occasion. My wife is a real rock hound and knows alot more about it than I do. She's even hipped me to using UV light in some prospecting applications, and I thought I knew everything:biggrin:(yeah, right). Thanks for sharing the book ideas. I love reading. Knowledge is power! Happy Hunting!:)
