Booklet of my local park maps....

As you can see, I have waaaaaaay too much idle time! I made copies (from Google maps) of everything in a 25 - 30 mile range of all the local parks and printed them in the 4x6 size to fit in one of those cheapie 4x6 photo albums ($2). Most of these I never heard of so now I have even more places to hunt!

Great idea. I use my iPad with the 3G cellular. Its about 500-600$ more than the nice map book you made.

So yours is a much better value:thumbup:

Seems ok, really over hunted public areas. Vexhold and I have hit a few good spots, he's out of Hastings. We are going to have to do some research this off season to get more gold mines.

Their are a few more hunters down here i would guess.

So far...it's been rare that I have run into ANYBODY! Pickings have been good. Haven't worked anything clean yet

This is a good idea Trout. Plus you can keep notes on what you found at each site. Divide it up between the winners and the losers.

Thats a good idea...something like that can be an addendum to the journal of g-mapped places i planned on documenting to check out later. thanks!
