I really enjoy reading and re-reading your books. This reminds me that I should read this one again before my next beach trip. Thanks for sharing so much with the rest of us!! Charles

Any good sounding target in a area that has a lot shells on the wet suface is good indicator to dig , at least for me it is at the ocean beaches here . always good reading Clive . Jim

also another good reason to pay attention to those nulls, because iron is very heavy as well. How about throwing in a little info here Clive on surface targets vs non-surface targets. They may well create some of those anomalies because of surface and turbulance.

Thanks for your feedback, Sonnar. The more I hunt and observe shorelines more it becomes apparant that recognising where what you are looking for COULD be comes before any considerations of detector performance or target ID. In a lot of conditions, the shore will tell you where to look.

I love to find those 4-5-6 oz lead sinkers. I know they will sink to the hard pan. That lets you know how deep most targets are in that area. I hunt both in all metal with the GT and GB of on my TDI Pro. So I think I am getting pretty deep. At least deep enough that my digging skill are improving both with shovel and scoop.

Clive sent you a PM several times your box is full.....Newer coil
