so i am making a book for all of those interested it wiould be a great guide of places to go metal detect it will be over 3 to 4 counties possibly more and will include homes in the area such as longstreets headquarters in russelville, the coffman home which was built 1782-83. hayslope hill where a civil war battle was fought, and the red door tavern. the riggs house in roe junction Tn which was built in the mid 1820s which served as a stop along the underground railroad, a civil war hospitol and a funeral home for many years. along with mossey creek,the glennmore mansion both of which are in jefferson city and in rogersville the pressmans home, the amis mill and restaraunt, the hale springs hotel, the hawkins county courthouse, the marble hall mansion (which burnt down but is owned in the family) ive even discovered ancient native american burial mounds, caves, and even the location of an ancient village. there will be more than that. i plan on giving the history of these properties along with pictures in a well thought out book i have set up a kickstarter page. you do not have to donate nor am i asking you to fund my project in ANY WAY but i will leave the link to the page here just thought i would share my project with the people of this forum https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1208238941/book-on-the-history-of-colonial-and-civil-war-era
