Well just when I think I'm old enough to know better.I go and do someting stupid!!! :ranting: Wanted to get the yard mowed before getting the camper ready to go.And made one pass and decided to change the hieght of the deck to get a better cut and had three wheels done then reached over to lift up the mower to do the last wheel and grabbed the hot muffler.Third degree burns on the first two fingers and second on the third. So much for detecting or water hunting or carving for a few days.Grrrrrrr. Not the way I wanted to start a two week vacation.I would guess atleast 3-5 days going one handed. But Don't Worry about Me thought. My wife says she has lots of things for me to do one handed. Some how I don't see how I can do dishes but she sure does!!!!!! :heh: Grumpy

Having spent 7-1/2 weeks in the hospital when I was a kid with burns, I have felt your pain. (THEN I grew up and became a career firefighter for 30 years....Now THAT is boneheaded!) LOL.

Take good care of the injury, burns tend to get infected.

HH, when you can go again, fellow bonehead!

Dennis, all fired up!

Heres one I did a couple yrs ago.It was supose to be a river otter but looks more like a Prairie dog after a hard winter. I do mostly canes and walking sticks Duck heads, a walrus,a moose, and am currently working on a mermaid .Wil try to take a picture tomorow.Just remember it's not done yet.Grumpy
