Blurry picture problem

Hi...I have a Olympus D-340 digital camera. Been a fine camera up to this point. Today I moved about 45 pictures off the smartmedia card via the USB port to the hard drive to print. The first half of them were fine. The second half had blurry spots on them or a misty look. All the spots appear to be in towards the middle of shot....Any suggestions as to what may cause this? Never had it do this before......The lens looks to be clean with no finger prints on it etc. Any one else had this problem....Tnx in advance. George-CT

George, has it been humid where you live?
When did you take the pictures?
Did you take all those pictures on the same day?
Have you tried to use the camera since this problem?

Its pretty humid here but that never was a problem in the past. the blurry pictures were takne in the last 2 weeks but added on to ones that were taken in the last 3 months. The earlier ones were fine.......I did more looking today. It seems to be getting the fussy look anyplace there are highlights, like light streaming in from a window, or the chrome off a car or even highlights off a picture. Yet, and this is weird, if I take a picture indoors in say dull light with no major reflections, it seems fine. Let me see if I can upload one that you can see the problem.....This is of my camper and you can see that most of it is sharp, but to the right of center is all fuzzy. yet to the right of that its clear again.....George-CT
