This coil is good for Classic ID and the Classic IDX ,what kz does it operate at?
Could this coil operate on the XLT or is the kz the same ?
Would the pins be the same on the connector ?
Thanks for any info !

The 6.59kHz coils will work on the XLT, 6000XL, XL PRO, ID series, IDX, IDX PRO, QXT, QXT PRO, CL III and the 5900 and probably many others. The Blue Max 800 is the same as the Royal 800 and I found the following on an older sale's site.

Royal 800 coil
Fits XLT, 6000 XL, XL Pro, QXT Pro, IDX, ID, CL III, 5900, Sierra Madre, PRL-1. Better separation in high trash. 6.5kHz

GpSnoopy many thanks for the info !!

Ohio Fred how do you like the 800 verses the 9.5.?
Did your finds increase and were they deeper.?
I realize its likely better to seperate in trashy area are there other benefits ?

I like the 800 better for separation and sound. The 950 is ok but don't like the whole in middle get a little more depth maybe a inch and coverage with 950 but it seem to hand up to in weeds. As for my finds i use the 800 and kind of use the dc phase the correct way and my finds have increased double or more and better finds using the dc phase on xlt.My idx is modified by Mr.bill and i do see a increase in depth with the 950 and more coverage.Hope this helped

Fred,
please for-give this old marine ( 68'-72' ) but i still don't get the dc phase on my xlt. would you be so kind as to explain it to me. either pm me or on this forum. i'm sure i'm not alone in my little world of misunderstandings.

thx again for the pm. got rain for the next two days. then it's suppose to clear up. i shall attack my newly found ball field and try the phasing out.
