Blue Max 350 Snooper Coil Question.

Is there a difference between a light blue and a dark blue coil...Seen them for sale, but the post did not state what machines they were for...

High,
As far as I know, anything that says Blue Max on it is for the various Whites detectors that work on/with 6,59kH.
No matter what the colour.
Greetings

of the Blue Max designed models such as the Eagle II, Eagle Spectrum XLT, the 5900 & 6000 Di Pro's that were re-engineered for them in about '87/'88, and the 5900/6000 Di Pro SL's, 6000 Pro XL/XL Pro, all of the Quantum series models, the Classic III-Plus and Classic III SL, Classic ID, Classic IDX and IDX Pro.

These models use only the Blue Max series of coils, some of which had a different name such as Pro Scan 800, Royal 800, 5.3 BullsEye, and several other. There was a Blue Max 256 but it was only made for the former models that used the older '6B' series coil, like the Classic II and earlier models. It is a Blue Max, but not compatible with the models I mentioned above.

Decal colors can change, just like the plastic colors. Some Blue Max 350 coils had a white plastic bottom, some a yellow colored lower half, and the last ones were black in color, so both decal shades and plastic colors can vary. In short, if it is a Blue Max 350, it is a Blue Max 350 and they all fit the same 6.59 kHz models that were designed to function with the Blue Max coils.
