Blue Max 15" Loop

Am considering buying the 15" loop for my XLT. Just wondered if anyone out there had experience with one and how accurate they are?

Will go very deep 6 plus feet.
I use one on an XL PRO and that coil will go very deep.
I dug up some old iron at least 5 foot.
the XL PRO could have found it much deeper.
Be ready to dig deeeep.:goodnight:

Thanks for the info. I have heard and read large coils loose some sensitivity to coins and button size objects. Think I will stay with my stock coil and pump it up even further to 11 or 12 inch depth. Besides, I am lazy when it comes to digging deep holes. My experience shows that most of my "good" finds come in the 4-8" range anyway so why tinker with a good thing?

instead of the 9.5 stock coil that came with the detector. You will not lose much depth and will have better target seperation in trash sites. Target seperation to me is more important than depth of detection...most coins will be found within the range of the Blue Max 800 coil. Kelley (Texas) :)
