Blisstool

Made the jump and bought a Blisstool v3. I live in VA and needed a detector to go deep in harsh soil conditions. This machine just does that.

I wanted to say thanks for all the great discussions in this forum and the improved users guide that was posted by Barry.

I would encourage anybody looking for a deep seeking machine to consider this model. I also own a Minelab xterra705, which is an outstanding machine, but did not do too well in Culpeper due to the heavily mineralized soil. The V3 definitely fills that weak spot.

Looking forward to sharing some more experiences with everybody as we get used to running these very capable machines going forward.

Welcome to the fraternity. I take it you've seen the Blisstool in action in VA. Any short stories you would like to share would be helpful to some guys going to the DIV from Missouri (wish I was one:ranting:). Looking forward to seeing what relics you find in your bad ground. Especially, how deep it will work in VA.

You are doing better than me so far elki; I've been out with my Bliss several times, but no silver yet - I figure I have to clean out the trash first probably. But, there is still a lot of territory for me to cover with it. Hope to have a three day weekend first of March, plan on hunting a CW battle site with it at that time; shouldn't be too much modern trash. Might be modern shells, but probably not any pull tabs.
