Blisstool Thread

Since Blisstool no longer has it's own category anymore...
I just bought the V5 on e-bay over the weekend. I will have it here this week.
The reason for my purchase is because this appears to be the deepest VLF
in the world. First it was the Minelab Explorer opening a whole new world of deep detection
and now the torch gets passed to the Blisstool, or so I think. I'll post finds soon.
Plan on going to "cleaned out" old parks in central N.Y.

I personally would have said from observations that many 1000s of detectorists still use the Explorer range of detectors and was possibly the most popular detector on the planet but i am aware of just one folk in my detecting club that uses a Blisstool, could one come to some form of a conclusion from these observation,i think i can ??

Yes, the only conclusion I can think of is the bliss is way under rated and people don't give it an honest go in learning the controls. I think the majority of people are intimidated by all the controls it has and pass on it. Once you learn what they do; it really is quite simple to operate. It really is deep. I do have one and can attest to this. It is best at home in the woods or field environment. Steve

Allow me to be the guinea pig and let's see if this lives up to it's emerging reputation.
I owned an Explorer and witnessed it's depth. Which will be my base line for the Blisstool.

Just got my new/used Blisstool V5 today. Assembled and now...the growth curve.
Ant suggestions for a beginner as far as settings. I'll head over to YouTube and see what I can learn there.
