The day started pretty bad. My wife's car broke down in the middle of traffic on the highway... she was towed to her job site... 125.00$ for Mr Towing. Now it looked like the brand new alternator broke down again... grrr It's still under warranty but the pain. But i decided to take care of that later on the day, i would go detect for a few hours and then sitch cars with my wife's.

So had a few hours in my pocket. Well only found two rings, no other jewels, but fortunatly, both are 14K ! Not biggies but one had a shiny stone and i was pretty sure it was genuine... and the diamond tester turned green instantly ! So yes a nice little diamond! Did good on clad also, so this will help pay for the towing fees :(

I recharged the battery completely at her office and ran on the battery up to my house. Once in the drive way, i noticed one of the wires coming out of the alternator was pretty loose. On close inspection i saw the main wire connector was broken, so no current came out of that!!! A 2.49$ solution. Cars... what a pain !

well on the brighter side, here are the pics !

Very nice rings Martin... If someone put that alternator in for you, then I would make them pay for the tow.. Don't take no for an answer either :)
