My first BLING Ring 14K with the Tesoro Sand shark PI 8" Hooa!!!!!!! Me and Lake Hunter went to the oll water hole,

Your a Pirate for sure Now! Nice Gold!

Thanks Im a freshwater Pirate Matty Harrrr, Mic

Congrats on the ring!

Sand Shark does well. Have pulled a few rings up with my Sand Shark. Still digging more bobbie pins than I like when swinging the Sand Shark ... mainly by choice since nearly all of them double blip ... but I did dig a nice thin chain that double blipped too, so I dig many of the double blips wishfully thinking it's a chain.
Cheers,
tvr

Thank You Verry mutch for your reply tvr, The Sand Shark is my first PI unit and its ben Terrific!!!! Im going Deeper thean iv ever went with my VLF units ,
A bit about my History in this Wonderful Hobby of ours, Iv ben Detectind mainly with Whites units for 25 years, Iv owend most of Whites Detectors at one time or another,
I would have a Whites DF water unit, But thay dont put a volume on thear water Detectors, I have three Detectors a V3i / Eagle II SL 90 / and the Sand Shark for the warer
I started Hunting in the warer 2 years ago, Well im rambilling now, Thank You again for your Reply tvr and can you give me some advice on PI units i would appreseat it,
Mickey Lewie, Mickfin,

After 40-50 double blips always being shallow nails, wire bobbie pins, I gave up digging them wishing just one would be a chain.

Until I see one of my buddies digging up a gold chain I passed over as a double blip, I ain't diggin no more of them ! I almost would think 'hopefully' that a gold chain would sound a little different than a nail.

Therover ya know that Ring sounded Like a bobby pin, You know i put a magnet in my scoop 4R the bobby pins, Gana take out my V3i 4R turff tomorrow, Mickfin

What sort of stone is that? It has a slight yellow tint...Have that checked to make sure it isnt a yellow diamond

Its called a Citrine type stone its a birth stone for November, I didet know about yellow Dinands, Thanks DIG,

Kinda Like this one,

nice loot there...:detecting::clapping:

Micfin,
My only PI experience so far is the Sand Shark. Nearly all double blips dug are bobby pins, wire, or long thin shaped iron. I have had one nice chain and some deep coins double blip. If I walk around the target as I swing and the double blip is in only one orientation ... I more frequently pass on it. If it double blips in more than one axis of the swing (or orientation as I walk around it) I dig.

The deeper in the water I get, the harder it is to walk around a target. Most every target in water deeper than waist deep gets dug.

I guess I can imagine that the ring might double blip if that stone was up and the ring band sat like a coin on edge. Would kind of present itself like a longer thinner target in one swing axis.

Congrats again on the very nice ring!
