Went to a small out-of-the-way park today before the rain. It seamed noone had ever detected it before me. Found the usual clad, a WW11 cuff button, a 1944 nickel and this ring. It is an extra wide and heavy ring. Inside are the numbers 925 and on top is a recessed cross. Any ideas on the meaning of the cross would be appreciated. My partner and I are going to hit the park later on this week and hopefully make some more good finds.
