Blew Off Detecting Today and Found Silver :laugh:

Decided to stay home and do a little baking . Check those CoinStar return
slots guys . Went out for supplies and found 2 Rosies , a 53 & 63 , it kicks the
silver back . Also there was 5 can. dimes , 3 ca. nickels , a 2 cent euro , a game token
and a zinc lincoln . Better than I did on my last 8 hr. hunt and I have Nice Apple
Cinnamon Biscotti too

Seriously , I have found a lot of silver in those machines in the
last couple of years. Not everybody looks at their coins , like
we do .....Terri

Silver coins are indeed excepted in coin star machines, I have to unjam ours at work all the time. I'm betting that somebody dumped grandpa's cache in it and as with all large quantity dumps many coins slip through the shuffler wheel within the machine. Normally one would just re dump those back into the feeder tray. There's a magnet that snags ferrous material like euro coins, paper clips, screws and my favorite , steel war time pennies. which will cause the machine to need more time to sort through the coins. If the silver is really worn then it can easily be rejected.

Hay,don't talk about the coinstar trick dang!,that ain't cool man,that get's me through hard times,that my detecting and my bicycle is all i got,for that i am not telling you what kind of bike it is!.Chucky.
