Blessings and Prayer Request...

Greetings from Iowa--
We are getting a nice gentle rain which has been going on since 9:00 am this morning. My 13 year old son won a metal detector in a contest and was also elected class president last week. I have a simple prayer request. I have been working overnights for 2 years and would like to spend more time with my family. Just this morning I got a call from my head hunter and she said a pharmacy company needs to fill a position. The interview is at 1:00 central time today. Pray that God will give me wisdom to use the right words. I have not metal detected this much this summer because of the very dry soil and dead grass here in Iowa. Last Thursday took my Bounty Hunter Land-Star to a worked out park and got a little over $3.00 in change and a 1950 wheat penny in almost AU condition. I then went to my sisters house which has been searched many times and found a 1980 penny and a St. Christopher medal. May God bless those on the east coast as they clean up from the storm.

Well, I spoke too soon it is 101 degrees today...soooo hot summer is still with us in MO! But still better than the ice-cold weather of MO winters! Ma Betty
