Bleachers

Well I got back to hunt the other bleacher at the football field. I was there about an hour and a half. I found the usual clad and a 10 kt wedding band. That's the second gold ring this year. It was a solid VDI of 16. The ground is very hard so all the targets are shallow. I'll have to wait for football season to hit them again. HH Rob

Gotta LOVE those bleachers! Nice ring Rob. Looks like it paid off to go back there. The ground here is perfect for digging. Wish you had some if it where you live. Thanks for sharing. HH to all, Nancy

The ground here is good Nancy. It is just hard packed clay with some rocks under the bleachers themselves. The finds stay in the top 3" with many less than 3". HH Rob

OK, I understand now. I wondered why the ground up there was hard. Makes for easy targets with it being under the bleachers. Watch your head, I've been known to get hit a few times under there. :stars: I think we're going out today. HH to all, Nancy

Nice finds Rob, especially the ring. I don't have any bleachers in my area that I can hunt because of the locked gates. HH Dennis in Idaho

We have HUGE sets of bleachers at the local High School but the place is
locked up tighter than Fort Knox. I'll have to see if I can get permission to
hunt there when the open the gates up.

That's what these bleachers are. I found they lock the gates but leave the turnstiles at the ticket gates open so people can jog on the track.

They don't even do that here! No turnstiles at this school.
