Our Murray / Darling river system is about to go dry which is a disaster for South Australia which gets most of its drinking water from those waterways. We're talking of an entire city being left with no potable water for over a million people.

Today I heard of several Large Icebergs off the southern coast of New Zealand. Not that long ago, some Australians proposed dragging a few of these to our shores as an answer to our diminishing water supply.

It's pretty tough just now. Prospectors are getting turned away from some of the Golden Triangle towns for want of water. Townsfolk refuse supply of good water and I can't blame them. Good water over here is Rain water and there's perishing little of that around just now.
