Birthday hunt

I took my old faithful Tesoro Stingray to the lake this morning. I almost did not go because a local club had brought 15 members and hunted it pretty hard a couple weeks ago But when I started to find a few coins ,I slowed down and let the stingray hunt in all metal and checked the targets with the dis. set a just above bobby-pins. I was finding coins then I found the old ear ring then the bigger one and its mate about 20 feet apart. I was getting ready to leave and started hunting the ankle deep bottle-cap infested water when I heard the sweat sound of gold,out popped this little 10 k ring at about 5 inch deep .

Thats cool , you beat the odds , after the club had gone over it , shows me you know what you are doing , thats for sure congratulations on a nice ring find .

Gunnar,I am not sure if I know what I am doing or not,all I had to do was put my coil over the spot where the the others had not put theirs .But it did make me fill good that my 25 year old Tesoro can sill find it.and it was a good birthday for me I had fun.
