This was my first true findings... 14k wedding band and a 1942 standing liberty....

Trust me you will never forget your first gold ring. I have found a few (not many) but the first one, I could tell you within how many feet of the wall, how deep and sand conditions, most of all I remember the sound of it rattling around in my scoop. I must say after you find your first they seem to come easier!!!!

Man the salt really jacked up those silver coins. I am still learning my silver coins but they look like a Walking Liberty . Not sure what the half eaten cookie looking one is. Congratulations on the gold....now your a "Looter" and you will become consumed like the rest of us, breaking out in a sweat at the mention of the words "Low Tide"
 
good for you-as said your now in trouble as the only cure for 1 gold ring is another-also those quarters are a great find even if they did see some better days-they were in sand/water a long time to end up like that-or else the ground minerals in that area really something
