Living on the West Coast, I don't have to fear Bill and its potential dammage. There's been lots of news about it, even on the local news, with the warnings of huge waves and riptides. You all be careful where this is happening. Don't want to be reading about a lost water detectorist who got sucked out by the rip. How deep can you wade without worrying about the rip getting you? When I surf fish here and there's a strong outgoing tide, I can feel the sand erode under my feet and if I don't replant them every few seconds, it wouldn't be long before I'd be in a tilt postion, totally unbalanced, prime for a sneaker to knock me down, and then probably out in more ways than one. I wear a manually inflatable PFD, C02 cartridge for emergency inflation, as and added safety item. Jim
