Bill, on your 1270, when you hit a hot rock and went to P.P, did the 1270 null out?

maybe occationally. I know on the C$ they hit at +51 & often when I pinpoint it does.....
I still kick myself for selling the 1270 all the time.....so I'll have another one soon. One reason is that little x-series 3" sniper coil I kept that should kick butt around cellar holes. I also have the rare big eliptical coil (11" I think, I wanna try on it too)....
 
Generally on a detector with a ground balanced non-motion hunting mode a hot rock will make the detector go into the null. This saved me from digging a lot of RUST many years ago, with a Red Baron.
