After you finish hating it, it will become your best friend and constant companion.

I have a Sov GT and a Safari. Both appear to have very similar performance. ----- BUT ---- for some reason I only ever seem to use the Sov. !!!!!!

Best of luck

Persevere and learn to love it

First time out, use with volume 3/4 to full On,...........it's easier to learn that way.

My guess, you got the Tornado 1000 ? if so there is a tip................. you can get it after a few trials.

Wow!!

I can't remember when one of my simple posts ever got such a response!!

Thank you fellow hunters for your replies!

Ivan, I didn't know you used a Sovreign GT, but i'm not surprised.

Great to hear from you all.

GL&HH friends,

CJ

I feel you have received a great response because of the detector you purchased and because we all know (that use the GT) what it is capable of. So it grabs our attention when someone else buys one (such as yourself) as we know what you are in for. (it is a good thing - just listen to what the detector is telling you)

You see, after gaining some experience with this machine you are going to 1) realize that you didn't make a mistake buying it (although it may feel like it in the beginning - that is the love / hate relationship lol. and 2) IF you truly take the time & learn what the machine is telling you - you will be finding LOTS of goodies even in places you think have been "hunted out". Well, return to those very hunted out places and let the Sovereign GT show you what is still there. I tell you this as I now see what the Sovereign GT is capable of.(I have only been using the GT for 6 months and I am very pleased) Especially at finding coins in iron.

I wish you the best - Jim
