My daughter and I went through the flea-market and I saw this laying on a table without a frame and just knew it would have a spot in my CW collection. I bought it for $4 and thought it was pretty neat showing the troops from VMI headed for the battle of New Market. Thanks for looking and HH!!

Give you five for it

Man, that's something. Always loved that print. Is that a Troiani? For four dollars, you made out pretty decent, Scott! Congrats, bud

Relics and anything CW related you would have to be rich to buy it. I live near Gettysburg,PA and go up about once a week, just to drive and walk through the battlefield. I often stop by the CW relic shops to see whats been coming out of the ground. And man! the price they have on stuff now a days will blow your mind. You would need to work three jobs to buy a simple Yankee belt plate.350.00 to 400.00 for a nice one. The other thing is bullets. They are getting 5.00 for a plain old "three ringer" and to top it off they all say "dug at Gettysburg"! ain't that something that you can still dig bullets from the G'brg battlefield!!
HH to all,
Jay

as I have been wanting to buy a few real nice specimens to add a little sparkle to my curio cabinet display but I'm not willing to work those 3 jobs to be able to do it so I'll have to settle for what I can dig here in N.E. TN. and S.W. VA. besides It means alot more to me being that it's local history that I have saved.
