Biggest relic find ever...

Bavaria Mike

New member
Did two relic hunts today, about 4 hours worth. Found a 1950 German 1 Mark coin, an 1890ish coin and my largest relic find ever, an iron wagon axle. This thing is about 5

Nice finds.I noticed in the picture there was something else leaning against the tree.It was Grey. You didn't leave that did you.
Sounds like you had a great day of coin and "Relic" hunting.

Come on, MIke. You didn't want to carry that home with you? Maybe someone will find a use for it. Must have given one heck of an overload signal. Ron

A heart racer find on goldfield that would be. I detected something similar to that and because of the length and where it was I was convinced I had found a reef. I looked about so to make sure I wasnt being watched and then with heart smashing against my rib cage and trying to look as casual about it all as I could muster I dug it up all the while thinking about which colour Ford Teritory or Holden Adventurer I would by the next week. After an hour , two gallons of sweat and 50 unrepeatable words later I was the proud owner of an old crow bar left over from the diggers days.

HAHAHAHAHAHAH<<<LOL LOL I can just picture your anticipation and let down..notice you didn't print those kind words you were spouting HAHHAHAHA Funny story !!!!

Hey Mike,

Which of the DD coils are you using (hi or med freq) and what kind of number did that big iron read?

Thanks,
Neil

I was using the 10.5" 18.75KHz, did not check the VDI as I knew it was something big and unusual. It was screaming and did not sound like iron -6. HH, Mike
