Got the biggest gold so far this year... and it has to be returned... bou hou 
! Luke called me sunday night to tall me about a guy who met him at the beach while detecting. He just lost his wedding band and was very anxious to find it back. The guy wasn't 100% sure where it was and the searching area was quite large. Unfortunatly, after a full hour, he couldn't come up with it. Luke kept his phone number and described me the area in question.
My first research didn't produced anything. I got bored and moved somewhere else. While searching i found the little gold earring and very, very few coins. I met an other detectorist on the beach and asked if he found it, nope he said. Was the first time i met the guy who has been hunting that beach for years. We had a pleasant chat and then i decided to give the area a second trial.
A few minutes after, got a very strong signal and found that large men's ring in my scoop! Just the weight told me i had the right one. It's nothing special but 22K is quite heavy!
Continued detecting for a while, but signals were too scarces, decided to call it a day. The other little gold ring was found saturday in a very shorth hunt at the in-law's summer house.
This morning i contacted the owner and we'll meet later tonight. Now i finish typing this meassage and out i go for detection... last week of vacations, better make the best of it !
