Bigger coils

time detective

New member
I am new to using the Explorer but plan to search for deep artefacts on a specific field later this year that has produced many interesting and varied finds (including gold coins). This field is teaming with coke (a burden to UK sites) so this needs to be taken into account in my choice of a larger coil for increased depth. I have looked at the Sunray 12" stealth and the new 16.5" EXcelerator. I would appreciate any feedback (negative or positive) concerning these coils or others that can be recommended / ignored for whatever reason.
