Bigger, Better Lincolns

Monday, after work, went to a favorite park. [attachment 216258 wldf01.jpg] After a nice run of zincolns I saw a piece of paper peeking out from under a fallen leaf.
I thought it was play money but it was a $5 dollar bill![attachment 216259 wldf02.jpg] First folding money I ever found MDing.

Found a nice, heavy piece of costume jewelry - looks fairly old.[attachment 216260 wldf03.jpg] [attachment 216261 wldf05.jpg] Rhinestones and fake or maybe cultured pearls. Unfortunately, a few had fallen out.

Later, when washing the coins, it turns out one of the zincolns was actually a 1942 wheaty. [attachment 216262 wldf06.jpg] Only the fifth wheat I

It is funny that in 6 years of hunting I have not found any bills while out...I did find a whole wallet with $80 in it on a beach once, but that was years ago, before I even thought about detecting...Wallet belonged to a Sheriff's Deputy to boot. It got returned. Soggy Money is still good money...:thumbup:
