Bigfoot on the Vision

Hi,

My Bigfoot coil runs great on my Vision. With TX Boost off I can max out on all Gain settings. With TX Boost on I can only get to RX Gain of 6, any higher and it overloads. Not really an issue that I can see.

Hi,

My Bigfoot is also hitting a nickel at 58 in three freq mode. But look at the graph. In 2.5 kHz it is hitting at 15, in 7.5 kHz it hits at 18, and in 22.5 kHz it hits at 62. The Bigfoot is skewing the VDI on high conductive targets higher in three freq mode. If you went to 7.5 kHz mode only you'll get closer to truer numbers.

Some one should let him know if they already are not aware of this.

Already done. There may be a way to adjust for it also but not had time to experiment yet. Too darn busy!

When you are in search mode the BF coil is detecting @ 100% and when your in pinpoint @ 50% like on the DFX correct .....as a earlier poster stated the pinpoint was backwards the 50% was at the back of the BF and not the front? .....are you guys having this issue To.... ......I can live with the VDI numbers being off a little ........got to have my BF

Pinpointing was in the upper 1/2 of my Bigfoot just like on the DFX.

good to here that .... the Vision's are very scarce in my neck of the woods.....when I do get one I will spend some time at the Beach with it.... I ran my PI at the beach today and found 2 cell phones 500 feet from each other ... ...there's never a normal days hunt at the beach.
