General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

This is great coil for covering large areas quickly, such as fields, beaches, etc. It's 3" wide x 18" long and acts as a sort of 'windshield wiper' to cover lots of ground with every swing of the detector. It's used but in new condition and perfect working order. This coil is for White's MXT or DFX metal detectors. I understand that right now the company that is making these isn't producing them anymore, at least in the foreseeable future because its designer passed away. Also included is the protective cover, lower and upper rods, and the mounting nuts and washers for White's brand metal detectors.
I think this is a great deal for someone who really gets serious about metal detecting. Thanks for looking!

Is this the same Bigfoot that sold on Ebay for $365, # 180341633582, Seven hours before you posted on here? Your phone # is from Gahanna, Ohio but the Ebay Bigfoot is from the East coast?????

It is the same picture for sure.
 
He didn't respond to my question and that is a red flag to me, also, he only registered three days before the ad and this was his third post, (all three the same), another flag. The wording on on Ebay and here are almost the same, picture the same...............

No way to know if it is a scam or not until he cashes your check, but I would keep all the info you can collect on him just in case.
 
A lot of people don't know that you can stop payment on a moneyorder. I know you can on a postal moneyorder.

Ok, if you google her name, you can easily get where she's working. No problem. Hope get your money back. Maybe Linda is not the right name, did you send the MO to this name?
 
This is to all who are reading this post.I just called the number listed in the craigslist ad for this coil here locally.I am in Delaware,Ohio and Gary answered the phone.I asked about the coil and he said as of right now it is sold and he was waiting on payment.He said if nothing works out I was next in line.Give him the benefit of the doubt before freaking out and calling him a crook.He answered the numbered listed in the ad here and the one on craigslist is the same.I guess we will all watch how this works out.I believe if he was out to rip people off he would have said yes it's still available.Just thought I would try to help this situation if I can.Gary,I hope you do ship this when you receive the payment and everything works out for everyone involved.
 
Hi everyone,
I did post an ad for a Bigfoot coil for a DFX. I always get hitches and glitches when I try to attach photos to any email, so I copied the photo from an ebay ad and posted it to the Find's Treasure Classifieds. I had no idea the problems I caused for you all and myself, not to mention the potential buyer. So, to make things right, I did attempt and succeed in taking a photo of the Bigfoot and email it to the buyer, Barry. I will NEVER do a copy like that again. I don't care how long it takes to attach a photo to an ad. I am a true believer of the Find's site and its support people who really care about honesty and watching each others back. You have my respect and admiration. My next attempt to a sale is to sell my DFX series E MD. It comes with a ton of "stuff", so watch for my ad. You all know me by now, I'm sure.
