Bigfoot Coil

Has anyone tried the MXT with Jimmy Sierras Bigfoot coil. I was thinking of getting one but first I would like to get some feedback on it.

Thanks
Tony

The Bigfoot coil is great on the DFX. But on the MXT, you only get half the length of the coil as useable. I wrote Jimmy Sierra an email once and he explained it to me, but I have since forgotten why. You might as well go with the mid size DD (not the new 14") or stay with the stock coil. Depends on what you are looking to find.

Tony, been using Bigfoot for 3yrs, just a different tone on the back half. Great on the beach with MXT!

Tony--
Front and back are working for you--it's just that the back half tone is broken, but not a biggie-- you can still get the signals and boy does this baby make short work of a large area. I'll be taking it to the UK this trip--and my 10x6 or the new 14x10 White's. And it's so light!!

i have a new mxt coming in two days. i ordered the bigfoot coil for it.
i thought it would be good for the beach. How sensitive is it for nugget hunting?
Are there any settings that seemed to work better? How off are the vdi numbers?
thank you
