Bigfoot coil used with xlt

New member
If you are a user of a big foot coil.On an xlt only. Can you post your results other than being able to cover more ground faster?I use the factory set programs and it reads about the same on all objects.I would like to hear from other users.I am going to try it on some small places that I did good at (and thought I cleaned Out)to see what I missed. Will post results afterwards.

You have a faulty coil as its just as accurate as any Whites coil..Not the deepest around but good for large areas..XLT has a special facet(absolute value) which you turn on for this coil. Makes one half of coil go dead for pinpointing, never used one without and its been a while and perhaps not having this facet on may be your problem relative readings....You also may have an older or newer bigfoot which is not applicable to your unit...A call to Whites should be able to tell you.To my knowledge they made three types..older model, newer model and one model with a switch near the coil where you could use on either model....

Dan,I don't have any problems with the Bigfoot coil,I was just bought one a little while back and would like to hear from other users. It better be the right one.I bought it from white's and they verified it.

Thanks,
Jim pa
