Myself and a couple of detecting buddies went to a couple of parks today and a small college. Lots of clad and Bugsy got a nice 42 merc and a nice 1882 Indian head. Lee got a couple of wheat's with the oldest being a 1914. I was getting a little frustrated not finding much and finally at the college I walked across the street from the library to this old brick home that was turned into a health clinic for the college. I started working along the edge of the paved driveway and pulled out a 42 walking liberty half. I scratched it with my digging tool and it's the first time I have ever done that. I'm trying to make my plugs as small as possible and when you don't pinpoint right on then that's what happens I guess. All in all we had a good day and nothing beats detecting with your buddies....... HH.
