Took the day off work to do some digging. Hit an old ballfield and of course the grass was 7-8 inches tall. Made getting deep signals very difficult. Managed couple wheats, 1906 Indian, $4.54 in clad and bunch of pull tabs trying for gold lol. Need to go back when they mow it. Saw an old house across the street, knocked and got permission. Scored a 1943 walker and 1911 V nickel and couple more wheats, pretty good day!

I have some of those Uncle Sam coins, but not one like that ... way cool

I don't have my Red Book with me but they must have really hammered out Walkers during the 1941 - 1943 span because it seems like half of them that I see are from those years. That's a lot of tabs!

i made my guess before I cleaned it that it would be a 1942-45, seems like majority of ones I find are!

Gotta dig pulltabs if you want gold! Last two gold rings I dug came in JUST like a beaver tail

Congratulations on the Walker and V, Terry! Thanks for the pictures man!

Very nice! That Walker and V was a nice reward after digging all the tabs. The play penny is pretty cool also. Thanks for the pictures.
