What a great find! It's been many years since I found a silver half... And I still scratch a coin now and then... especially if the ground is really hard or there are lots of rocks. Sometimes I get too impatient when it's hot out or I'm tired.

The Pro is good on silver of all sizes. How deep was it? I almost walked over a halve until I looked at the vdi. Some of the flattened aluminum caps sound the same to me.
