Nancy and I hunted an old silver mining area a few years ago, and concentrated on the site where the old smelter used to be. We found some interesting stuff, but I never posted the silver we found. I ran across these chunks in my treasure chest last month and got around to testing them. Yep. SILVER. I think that they are chunks of silver that stuck to the equipment when they were molten, and found their way into the ground for us to find 100 years later.

When we found them we were not sure what they were, but there were a lot more signals up there. Elson, do you want to go there next visit? I weighed the three chunks and they weighed a little over 2 pounds. Do the math.
