It was a beautiful weekend here getting up into the mid 60's. I didn't have any time to go out until late Sunday afternoon. My little girl and I headed to a spot that I had found a few silver dimes at last year. We didn't have much time to hunt and I wasn't expecting much, but was just glad to be out. We found a few wheaties and then a Rosie. I got a 12-40 signal and thought it would be a screw cap but when I turned the plug over it was a penny, nickel and silver sandwich. That was a fun surprise! It was just about dark when I decide to hit the edges before heading home. About a foot from the curb but close to an old maple tree, I got a very nice 1-46 2-46 signal but was shallow. I was hoping for a half but was expecting a crushed can. Cut my plug and scooped out the dirt between all the roots and out came that Big Silver coin! That was an awesome surprise! It was caked with dirt so we cleaned it up a little and revealed a nice 1935s Walker. HH David
