Big silver ring today amongst the trash.

We hit some school yards today and my finds where okay for clad, around $5.00 in quarters. But I did find this monster that overloaded me and was about 4" down. My detecting buddy broke his dry spell with a 1957 dime. That is 5 big silver for me in the last 7 days.... God has blessed.

First picture shows the dimes reeded edge and I set the ring down on the clump to get them both in the pic.

Twenty grams!!! That is a monster amount of silver in a ring. (Let's see.....31.103 grams per oz........ Silver $29.00 per......YUP, a memorable find I'd say!) An equally big congratulations to you BB! Classic looks too.

Thats beautiful old ring!:clapping:
Congrats!

Hunka, hunka burning lovin ring :clapping:

Excellent find, an overload is one of those tough decisions...to dig or not to dig....obviously you made the right decision.

I dig every overload signal. My largest silver finds have been overloads. It must however hit on the 2.5 frequency for a 100 percent dig rate. If you dont dig them than you are leaving behind silver without a doubt.

I agree with you, all of my overloads so far have turned into large cans, and in one instance a copper sheet buried 1 foot in the bottom of a streambed. The one exception to this was a copper wire with a 50 cent piece directly underneath it.

Double Whopper w/Cheese! Wow, that is a BIG RING.
