Big Silver / Nickel and Dime Trifecta / Huge 925 Silver Necklace Pendant

Finds were made from the last 2 weekends since my last post. 2 Friday and 2 Saturday 3/4 day hunts and one after work hunt during the week.
Temps hit 94 degrees with very high humidity.
2 of the barber dimes were right next to iron and very deep. One was next to a square nail and the other was right on that old push pin.
The 1911D barber dime was part of a pocket spill with the 1920 Canadian penny and a 1926 wheat penny so that was a garbled signal with a lower reading but was repeatable and deep.
The mystery bird design item was a low tone nickel type signal @ 7 inches. I originally thought it was a pendant but is upside down for that.

Coin Finds

Silver Franklin Half is 1960
Quarters are 1902,1940
Dimes are 1901,1906O,1911D,1923,1936,1941,1954,1961
Nickels are 1902,1903,Dateless Buffalo,1916,1919,1926,1944 (silver war nickel),1946,1954,1956
Indian Pennies are 1886,1892,1897,1901,1905,1908
28 Wheat pennies are back to 1916 (2 found are 1922 D, one is a weak strike D so my heart fluttered a little as I thought it might be a 1922 plain)
Canadian penny is 1920

Non Coin Finds

Large 925 silver pendant
1960s? Fish spinner ring
Small heart silver band ring
Small plated ring with fake stone
Embossed heart pendant with some age
Merchant token from old restaurant
Bow tie item
Mystery bird design item
Harry S Truman Presidential token
Vet Center medal
Watch (had good depth and sounded like a quarter)
Part of a ruler
Old drawer pull
Train Track Penny with the impression of another penny on it. Not that old but kind of cool.

Nice Finds Man its been hot here to in CT..

Beautiful finds Dave. Pretty unusual pendant. Would love to know what the back story on that design was. That is an awesome IHP. Tell your wife she did an awesome job cleaning that one! Best of luck on your next hunt.

What a great hunt! You get the Ironman award for hunting in this awful heat and humidity!-

Thanks Phillip,
That Indian was about an 8 inch coin in sandy soil. I lightly brass brushed just couple times and it was good.
The token is an old Restaurant token.

Awesome finds! Love the 1892 IH cent and the token!!

Congratulations!

Thanks Greg,

Yes, the Silver pendant has a large 925 stamp on the back. Wasn't very deep but next to a tree above the root. Some of those shallow high tones that have been in the ground
awhile sound slightly different than a new quarter to me (less double tapping) so you hope they are silver.
The other pendant turned out to be a late 1800s - turn of the century miniature fan pendant

Thanks Ted,
I can usually take the heat fairly good but the humidity mixed with no wind days are tough.
I think my younger days running one of Dad's old case tractor (no cab) in the field behind the hot engine trained me for the heat ;)
