BIG silver for the E-trac today

went to a older park today that I was told was hunted out and trashy! so I walk out of the truck and hit a merc within ten feet! then my hunting buddy shows up, walks about ten feet and pulls a V nickel! (with an ace250)
I got a bouncy 11-43 to 1-46 and dug a memorial, I rechecked the hole and was still getting a solid 1-46 so I dug alittle to the right and found a 1997 silver eagle! it is scratched up but still says 1OZ of silver!
i hit a few more mercs in my 6 hour hunt. also got some wheats and clad. the big rusty bolt was found in a hole above a clad quarter...gotta love this machine! I did find a gold braclet which I will have tested, and dug most of the nickels and trash that rang in close after he found that V nickel. just before we were going to leave I hit a 1- 46 to 1-47 in the sidewlk strip...sterling silver ring! I love this E-trac...less trash and more goodies!

WOW!! what a good hunt. Congratulations.

That silver eagle is a beautiful coin. If I had one, it would be at home for safe keeping. Wonder why someone would carry it around with them??:nono: Well, it's good that they do:super::detecting:

I was running Goes4evers settings, in the stock coin program for half the day then switched to the Andy Sabisch coin program. I did once in awhile switch to manual sensitivity which I was running at 25...the auto wouldn't go above 16 . I did pull one of the mercs at only 2" next to a tree root. Once I get more familiar with the null and signal thing I will find a few more...I only covered a portion of this trashy well hit park...low and slow!

Nice haul. Interesting to find a silver bullion coin in the park. Some kid probably took it from his Dad's stash and lost it at the park...DOH!
Nice of you to post the numbers.

Wow!! great finds. Keep it up.
