Big roman disc.

This is one cool find. I got out of the car, got my F75 ready, put on the headphones, clicked it on and did my ground balance. I did about 7 swings when I got this signal, my first signal and out came this nice disc, about the size of a U.S. 1/2 dollar. It appears to be silver plated bronze and both sides are identical. It has the bust of roman Emperor Severus Alexander 208-235 A.D. It has the words IMP ALEXANDER PIYS AYC " Imperator Alexander Pius Augustus" On the outside of the bust. But my problem is this is no roman coin! Does anyone have any clue what this might have been or were it could of come from. I have never seen anything like it before. Well thank you for your help.

i might be mistaken but i'm reading imp alexander pivs avc which is severus alexander i looked up stuff that matched this perfectly look up images for imp alexander pivs avc and it should come up .

Is this a very thin tin looking disk?...I found one and the best ID I could come up with it went on top of some kind of bottle or jar lid as decoration/promotion...
