Big news about Fisher detectors!.......

I just got this email from my dealer!.......

Hi friends;

This is not an attempt to sell detectors, I'm just spreading the news.
However, if things go like I expect they will, this may be Fishers best sales ploy ever.
People always ask me, "What's new?"
Well, I just received word from Fisher about a new land detector called the ID EDGE
and it looks like a high performance version of the ID Excel. Only time will tell if that unit
is any good --- I hope its more impressive than the Excel or the Coin Strike.
What really got my attention was, not what was coming out in new detectors, but what
is going out in old detectors! Here is a direct quote from the dealer newsletter:

"Fisher's CZ-20 underwater model has been a leader in the industry since its release in
1994. However, over the past few years as Fisher has been faced with vendor part
shortages and increasing costs, we have been forced to make the difficult decision of
retiring the CZ-20. There is a limited supply of CZ-20's left and you are encouraged to
order today as units will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Fisher thanks
you for your continuous support of the CZ-20 and making it one of the all-time best
underwater units in the industry."

For many of you, like myself, you feel like you are losing a best friend. There is no talk
of a replacement model, and the 1280-X will remain.
Fisher had some problems with the CZ-20 over this last summer
but I feel they have addressed these problems and the last dozen I have sold have been
fine. Remember they still carry a lifetime warranty. I have one new CZ-20 in stock
with a 10.5 coil and I am sure we can get more for a while, but it is going to be a
hard blow when they say that they are all gone. Just thought I would give you
a heads-up report.
