Big lake hunt

Couldnt do much the past couple days due to the big waves and rains from sandy. The winds finally let up today, enough to get the waves down to 3 or 4ft. Most of the lake michigan beaches are sanded in even worse now than before. Managed to find an area that wasnt so bad today. No gold, but was thrilled to see the bling in the scoop a couple times this afternoon, its been awhile, hunted for 4.5 hrs... Water temp is down in the 50's now

Is your first ring a tungston carbide one? If so I found its mate this summer. The water here in lake Huron looks like chocolate milk. Super dirty. Not good to detect yet, BUT I didn't look yesterday. Looks like you found a promising spot! Hope you can get back and find some real bling!! Thanks for sharing.
